Testing the relays
Testing the relays
This function can be used to simulate the switching of the relays in the central
unit and relay modules connected to the system bus. This function serves for
checking the accessory connected to the relays.
In measurement mode:
u
Press [ ] key.
Enter password (for maintenance or configuration).
u
Press [ ] key to change over to menu mode.
Display:
Use [ q ] or [ l ] key to select the » TEST THE RELAYS « option.
u
Press [ ] key –
the test starts with slave Address 0 (central unit) –
Display first line right and relay 1 – Display in the second line.
Use [ q ] or [ l ] key to call up the other relays through to the relays of a
relay module connected to the system bus – Display e.g. for relay module
Address 5, relay 3:
Use [ k ] or [ j ] key to active the selected relay:
» y « (yes) relay up,
» n « (nein) relay down.
(Up to 3 seconds may elapse between pressing the key and the relay
response).
To quit the function:
u
Press [ ] key to quit the function and display the menu option again.
The relays are switched again according to the current alarms.
