Safety instructions for lawn mowers

• When working with the product, always make sure that you are standing firmly and have a
natural posture.
• Keep the power cable away from the rotating blades. The blades can damage the cable and
result in an electric shock.
• Avoid using the product on wet grass. Exercise extreme caution when using on wet grass so
as to avoid slipping.
• Do not touch the rotating blades until the product has been disconnected from the mains
and the blades have come to a complete standstill.
• Always hold the product firmly in both hands.
• Before beginning work, check the terrain and remove all objects that may be flung out by the
product.
• Operate device only in the walking space.
• Only work when light and visibility are good.
• The operator must wear tight-fitting clothing. Avoid wearing loose clothing. Wear sturdy
shoes and long trousers.
• Ensure that there are no other persons or animals close to the working area.
• Be careful especially while changing the direction of motion on slopes.
• Never work near garden ponds or swimming pools.
• Pay attention to local regulations for rest periods.
• Take care when walking backwards. Danger of stumbling!
• Never leave the product unattended with the motor running.
