Function Control

According to the DVGW Arbeitsblatt G 465/IV (Rules by the
German Gas and Water Association) regular checks and
inspections of gas detectors are required.
Paragraph 5 "Control and inspections of the equipment" requests
that "the gas measuring instruments ... have to be controlled ...
before each operation".
This includes the indication control.
Paragraph 6.1 "Inspections" requires these to be carried out
"depending on the frequency of operation ... at least ... once a
year". This request includes amongst others the check of the
sensitivity.
The results of these controls and checks have to be documented.
To carry out the function control the following items are required:
- the charged EX-TEC® O.M. 3,
- the Test Set SPE (Fig. C),
- the Test adapter and
- the testgas 17,5 vol% oxygen
