Product liability

In accordance with the liability of manufacturers for their products as defined in the German "Produkthaf-
tungsgesetz" (Product Liability Act), the information contained in these instructions (product information and
proper use, misuse, product performance, product maintenance, obligations to provide information and instruc-
tions) is to be observed. Non-compliance releases the manufacturer from its statutory liability. GEZE shall not be
liable if devices from other manufacturers are used with GEZE equipment.

General

The specifications in this description always refer to the factory standard configuration. Changes in the software
configuration of the control unit may only be carried out by qualified personnel trained by GEZE. A liability claim
against the manufacturer or distributor of the control unit does not exist for damage that is due to interventions
in the control unit which are not authorised by the manufacturer or its distributor.
The specifications in this description have to be observed when connecting components. Planning and calcula-
tion of the power network is to be done by a qualified installer and has to be carried out in accordance with the
statutory regulations (in Germany for example in accordance with MLAR).
Before the system is approved for operation carry out and log an insulation measurement of the supply net-
