Wiring diagram
1) Lithing is switched on by the shut-off handle:
2) Lighting is switched on by an external switch:
This switch is not supplied.
The bypassing must be performed by an authorised electrician
( M L = m a n u a l V e r s i o n )
Thermostat alignment
During the initial use the thermostat alignment must be
performed.
Correction is necessary if the set temperature differs from the
temperature measured at the take off point. Hansgrohe has set
the thermostat under following conditions:
– water pressure 3 bar,
4
– temperature difference 50° C.
1) Switch-on hand shower,
2) Turn handle until water has 38° C at the outlet,
3) Toosen the grub screw,
4) Take handle off and turn it so the 38° C mark is showing,
5) Reposition the handle on the thermostat spindle and tighten
the grub screw.
Thermostat servicing
Clean filter:
1) Set thermostat handle to 38° C and hold position,
2) Unscrew grub screw and pull off handle,
3) Pull off „Quattro" handle, shut-off handle and cover (4),
4) Put down water by turning the shut-off valve (5) clockwise,
5) Unscrew none-return valve (6) by turning them counter
clockwise, check and clean filter,
6) Reassemble in reverse order and perform thermostat align-
ment.
If there is danger of frost, or emptying the entire
plumbing system of water, then the shut-off valves
must remain open and the non-return/filter valves
removed. Installation unit must be blown out by
pressurised air.
Combination boiler
Pharo manual 1/2" thermostatic shower panels can be used
on hydraulically electronically or thermostatically driven
combination boiler (min. 24 KW) providing there is at least
2.0 bar pressure. Due to the flow rate produced by a
combination boiler, only one shower can be used at a time.
Hot water supply
The hot water supply must be at least 2° C higher than the
desired mixed water temperature. The temperature difference
on the supply connection should be 50° C.
Pressure fluctuations
Any fluctuations between the cold and hot water supply must
be balanced.
