Overload protection

An installed predetermined breaking point
protects the drive. If an overload occurs,
the disc holder will break on the drive shaft.
A spare part can be purchased from
a specialist dealer or customer service
(order no. 088256).
Assemble
Before using for the first time, thoroughly

clean all parts, see "Cleaning and care".
Risk of injury from sharp blades!
Caution when using multi-function blade
and cutting discs. To insert and remove
the multi-function blade, take hold
of it by the tapered lug only.
Take hold of cutting discs by the edge
only. Take hold of the disc holder with
cutting disc in the middle of the handle
only.
Multi-function blade
for mincing, puréeing, blending, cutting and
for making sauces and mixed drinks.

Place the bowl on the base and rotate all

the way in an anti-clockwise direction.
Grip blade by the tapered lug and insert

into the bowl.
Add food to be processed.

Attach cover (note mark) and rotate

in an anti-clockwise direction as far
as the cover lug.
Cutting discs
Reversible slicing disc – thick/thin
for slicing fruit and vegetables.
Designation on the reversible slicing disc:
"1" for the thick slicing side
"3" for the thin slicing side
Warning!
The reversible slicing disc is not suitable for
slicing hard cheese, bread, rolls or chocolate.
Reversible shredding disc – coarse/fine
for shredding vegetables, fruit and cheese,
except for hard cheese (e.g. Parmesan).
Designation on the reversible shredding disc:
"2" for the coarse shredding side
"4" for the fine shredding side

Warning!
The reversible shredding disc is not suitable
for shredding nuts. Shred soft cheese with
the coarse side only.
Grating disc – medium-fine
for grating raw potatoes, hard cheese
(e.g. Parmesan) and nuts.
Warning!
Only one side of the grating disc can be used.
It is not suitable for grating soft cheese and
cheese slices.
Recommended setting
Settings 1–3 for soft and crumbly foods,
otherwise settings 5–7.

Place the bowl on the base and rotate all

the way in an anti-clockwise direction.
Place slicing or shredding disc with the

required side face up on the disc holder.
Take hold of the disc holder with cutting

disc in the middle of the handle only and
insert into the bowl.
Attach cover (note mark) and rotate

in an anti-clockwise direction as far
as the cover lug.

Operation

Risk of injury from sharp
blades/rotating drive!
Keep fingers clear of the filling shaft,
add more ingredients with the pusher.
Important information
The cover cannot be removed while
the appliance is running and if the multi-
blender is attached to the food processor.

Press release button and move

multi-function arm to position 5.
Cover unused drives with drive

covers.
Remove the blender drive cover.

Attach assembled multi-blender (mark

on the handle on mark on the base unit)
and turn it all the way anti-clockwise.
Set the rotary switch to the desired

setting.
More food can be added through the

filling shaft while the appliance is running.
