The following data must be re-entered depending on the vehicle's equipment:
Radio code · Vehicle clock · Timer · Board computer · Seat position
Setting instructions can be found in the particular operating instructions concerned.
Warning! MTPM-200 parts mounted in the vehicle must be fixed in place in
such a manner that they cannot become loose under any circumstances (hard
braking, traffic accident) and lead to the passengers being injured.
Please note! Only use a diode test lamp (see A 1) or a voltmeter (see A 2) to
test the voltage in electric wiring. Test lamps (see A 3) with an illuminant take
up too high currents and the vehicle electronic system may be damaged.
Please note! To avoid damage, pay close attention to sufficient space for the
drill exit (see A 4). Debur each borehole and treat with rust-preventing agent.
magic control does not execute any corrective measures; it is entirely up to the driver to
adopt corrective measures at the earliest possible time.
magic control cannot determine a tyre suddenly bursting or any other defect in good time
and warn the driver in advance.
Apart from tyre pressure and tyre temperature, magic control does not monitor any other
characteristics, such as tyre wear.
Each time the ignition is switched on, the driver should check self-testing is activated.
WAECO shall accept no liability for damage caused by the following points:
a) Installation errors
b) Errors when teaching the tyre-pressure sensors
c) Damage to the system incurred by mechanical influences and excess voltages
d) Temporary non-availability of information (= "SCH" on the display) due to damage to
the sensor, frequency disturbances or a dead sensor battery
e) Alterations to magic control without WAECO's express approval
f) Usage for purposes other than those described in the installation instructions.
All 4 sensors measure the tyre pressure and tyre temperature every 3.4 seconds and
transfer the collected data every 54.6 seconds. This frequency in data transfer is
adequate for regular conditions and ensures battery reliability and long service life (about
7 years).
Should a possible dangerous deviation in the tyre pressure or tyre temperature become
apparent, the system reacts immediately and switches to "Alert". In the alert mode, data
are measured and transferred every 0.85 seconds.
