LIST OF FUNCTION STATUSES

This allows the user to view and monitor the function status of all the
devices fitted to the unit, in real time.
To view, press the MODE-UP and ON/OFF, RESET-DOWN keys;
the label SET will be displayed.
Use the UP/DOWN keys to view all the sub-labels and decode them. To
return to the opening menu, just press MODE-UP and ON/OFF,RESET-
DOWN 3 times, for 2 seconds.

TYPE AND FREQUENCY OF SCHEDULED
CHECKS
DANGER!
Maintenance work and inspections must only be
carried out by qualified technicians authorised to
work on air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
DANGER!
Always place the general automatic switch in a
position where it protects the entire system prior to
any maintenance operation, even if it is only an
inspection. Make sure that no one accidentally
supplies power to the machine, lock the general
automatic switch in the Off position.
To guarantee the unit runs regularly and efficiently, it is necessary to
schedule an overall inspection at regular intervals to prevent
malfunctions which could damage the main machine components (see
SECTION II: INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE).
EVERY 6 MONTHS
• Check the gas charge.
• Check that there are no gas leaks.
• Check power absorption.
• Check the contactors on the control board.
• Check the operation of the high and low pressure switches.
END OF SEASON with unit switched off:
• Check the state of cleanliness of the air-side heat exchanger.
• Inspect and, if necessary, tighten the electrical contacts and
terminals
• Check that the condensate drain line is unobstructed (only for
MHAE).

ALARM SIGNALS

IMPORTANT!
Malfunctions and alarms displayed by the machine
should NEVER be ignored. The problem should be
checked and resolved as soon as possible.
If the alarm re-occurs, call technical assistance.
An alarm condition is indicated by the display on the panel of the
corresponding alarm code, as per the table below.
In the case of an alarm with manual reset:
• check with the help of the table, which alarm is indicated;
• reset the alarm using the ON/OFF RESET-DOWN key;
• check that the unit starts up again correctly.

PROLONGED SHUTDOWN

If the machine is going to be out of use for long periods of time, it is
necessary to disconnect the unit from the mains by opening the main
switch.
I.5.2

END-OF-DAY SHUTDOWN

To shut the machine down at the end of the day, press the ON/OFF,
RESET-DOWN key; alternatively, it can be done from a remote setting
device (SCR or room thermostat).
This ensures the power supply to the plate exchanger heating element.

STARTUP AFTER PROLONGED SHUTDOWN

Before starting up, carry out the following checks:
• check that the air-side heat exchanger is clean and that the airways
are clear;
• the crankcase heater element has run for 12 hours.
