3. With the engine in a level position, fill to the
upper limit (MAX) mark on the dipstick with
the recommended oil (Fig. 19).
4. Reinstall the oil cap securely (A).
CAUTION: Running the engine with a low
oil level can cause engine damage.
WARNING: Please dispose of used engine
oil in a manner that is compatible with
the environment. Used oil must be taken
in a sealed container to your local service
centre for reclamation. Do not throw it in the
rubbish bin or pour it down a drain, on the
ground or into the water system.
Transmission oil check and replacement
CAUTION - Periodically check that there
are no oil leaks.
As planned maintenance on page 32, replace
the transmission oil in an authorized Service
Center.
The oil must be SAE 90W/140.
The amount of oil required is 1.5 liters.
Crawler tracks
Periodically clean mud from the adjuster nut
(A, Fig.24) and locking screw (B) top avoid
excessive stiffening. Lubricate the track
tensioner after each use.
Grease application
The following par ts need to be greased
regularly:
1. The box supports (Fig. 20).
2. The 4 crawler rollers (Fig. 21).
CAUTION:
- Apply grease also on sliding and rough not
mentioned.
- Apply grease regularly using a grease gun.
Major servicing
It is advisable to have the machine inspected by a
specialist technician at an Authorised Service
Centre at the end of each season, if used intensively,
or every two years in the case of normal use.
8. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Environmental protection should be a priority
of considerable importance when using the
machine, for the benefit of both social cohesion
and the environment in which we live.
- Try not to cause any disturbance to the
surrounding area.
- Always adhere strictly to local bylaws for
disposal of the transported material.
- Scrupulously comply with local regulations
and provisions for the disposal of oils, petrol,
batteries, filters, deteriorated parts or any
elements which have a strong impact on the
environment. This waste must not be
disposed of as normal waste, it must be
separated and taken to specified waste
disposal centres where the material will be
recycled.
Demolition and disposal
When the machine reaches the end of its
service life, do not dispose of it into the
environment; instead take it to a waste disposal
centre.
Most materials used in the manufacture of the
machine are recyclable; all metals (steel,
aluminium, brass) can be delivered to a normal
recycling station. For information contact your
local waste recycling service. Waste disposal
must be carried out with respect for the
environment, avoiding soil, air and water
pollution.
In all cases, applicable local legislation must
be complied with.
9. OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES ON
REQUEST
Sideboards raising kit (Fig. 22)
Conversion Kit to increase the height of the box
sideboards, facilitating the transport of bulky
loads.
WARNING: Do not alter or extend the
load bed to increase the capacity of
the machine: the use of higher side boards
cannot be construed as authorization to
exceed the machine's load limits.
