Battery replacement and power-on/off EC RTD

When the symbol appears on the display, the batteries need to be replaced. This device
is powered by one 9-volt battery.
CAUTION! Electric current!
To avoid electrical shock or personal injury:
 Remove any test leads from the device before opening the battery compartment.
 Close and latch the battery cover before using the device.
CAUTION! Observe the battery type and polarity!
Damage can be caused if a different type of batteries is used or the batteries are incor-
rectly inserted during replacement.
 Use only fresh batteries of the same type.
 Pay attention to the correct polarity when inserting.
NOTICE!
Remove the batteries if the instrument will not be used for a long time.
Comply with the following instructions when replacing the batteries:
 Switch off the device and remove any test leads from the terminals.
 Remove the holster from the device.
 Release the lock in the indicated direction and open the battery cover.
 Remove the old battery.
No domestic waste!
The battery must be disposed of.
 Insert one new battery.
!!! Pay attention to the POLARITY !!!
 Put the battery cover back and lock it in the indicated direction.
