During operation of the fireplace, the heated air is con-
ducted to the installation room via air vents (if present) in
the upper area of the system.
No inflammable materials or objects (such as furniture or
a wooden ceiling) should be within at least 30 cm
≥ 5 cm
widthways and 50 cm above the hot air vent.
Make sure that the there is always a distance of at least
5 cm between the external surfaces of the facing of the
open fireplace and any inflammable objects.
This gap should allow enough air to circulate to prevent
heat build-up.
Make sure that any inflammable objects are separated
from the front of the fireplace by a space of at least
92 cm above, in front and to the sides.
This can be reduced to 46 cm if a fully-ventilated heat
radiation shield has been fitted.
