IMPORTANT!
When selecting a mounting location, please remember that the cables to the sensor re-
quire sufficient space and must be easily accessible so that service work can be carried
out.
1. Locate the hazardous points on the vehicle in order to identify the best possible
location for the sensor head or heads. To assist you in making this decision, read
damage reports, talk to drivers, and inspect any existing evidence of damage to the
bodywork.
2. Check for space inside the driver's cab so that the evaluation unit(s) can be instal-
led without inconveniencing the driver.
IMPORTANT!
The evaluation unit must have sufficient space (approx. 10 cm) for heat dissipation. Avo-
id closed areas, where heat accumulates. Choose the mounting location accordingly.
Ensure that the evaluation unit cannot be covered during operation (e.g., by coats,
covers, or similar).
3. Consult the driver when deciding where to position the display(s).
IMPORTANT!
The evaluation unit and the display must be installed in a protected location e. g. inside
the driver's cab. Consider also the cable length between display and evaluation unit.
4. Check where the cables can be laid. Avoid hot surfaces (e.g., exhaust pipes) when
laying the cables.
