The fasteners are closed during use. E. The backpack is removed
when using a cable car, gondola, etc. F. The backpack is not
overloaded or too heavy to the extent that its safety function
is affected.
- Note : open straps and buckles may be inadvertently caught
on gondolas, cable cars, drag lifts and chairlifts
- Note : wearing a backpack may impede your entry and exit
on chairlifts
- Note : there is often insufficient space on chairlifts to allow
you to wear a backpack on your back.

STORAGE
Treatment with substances other than those stated, and incor-
rect maintenance and cleaning may significantly influence and
impair the protector's level of performance and effectiveness.
Do not expose your protector to extreme sunlight.
Do not expose your protector to extremely high or low tem-
peratures.
Hang your protector in a dry condition and protected from sun-
light and direct sources of heat.
We recommend that you store the equipment at a temperature
of between 0° and 30°.
Before putting the equipment away for long periods, clean it care-
fully. Store and transport the equipment in its original packaging.
CLEANING
The equipment should not be washed in a washing machine,
bleached, ironed or dry cleaned. Clean your equipment using a
mild pH-neutral soap only and warm water.
INSPECTION
This product has a limited lifespan and for optimum safe-
ty SCOTT recommends replacing your product three (3) years
after purchasing date. The protective function may be impaired
by improper use or wear. Please check the straps, seams and
padding before use for any signs of damage. If you find any
damage, do not use the product.
DISPOSAL
Dispose of the products in your normal household waste. The
product should not be mechanically destroyed or burned as this
could potentially lead to hazards.
