SELECTING THE CORRECT SIZE
Select your back protector according to the information sewn
into the protector. SCOTT Sports SA assumes no liability for
damages resulting from the use of an incorrect protector size.
FIT AND POSITIONING OF THE PROTECTOR
To ensure the function of the back protector integrated in the
SCOTT Trail Protect EVO FR', it is essential to position the back-
pack correctly on the body. Please follow the instructions below
to ensure that the backpack is sitting correctly and does not slip.
1- Unfasten all adjustable straps.
2- Place the backpack on your back and position the hip belt so
that the centre is located on your hip bone (not above and
not below ! ) to ensure that you have sufficient freedom of
movement and the backpack is perfectly positioned.
3- Make sure that the protector is positioned vertically and in the
middle of your back.
4- Now close the hip belt, shoulder and chest straps to achieve a
comfortable fit.
• VII. CHECK BEFORE USE
Please check the function of the backpack and protector before
use. Check that :
A. There are no tears, split seams or other mechanical damage
to the straps. B. All fasteners work correctly. C. The backpack is
properly packed and closed. D. The backpack contents do not
slide around.
Also make sure that:
A. The backpack and protector are positioned correctly. B. There
are no sharp objects in the backpack that could impair the safe-
ty function. C. There are no loose objects in the backpack. D.
