If the motor starts to overheat, the led (3) will
start to flash and the machine will switch off. The
machine can be restarted after the motor has
cooled down.

Charging Li-ion battery
The battery charger supplied is matched to the Li-
ion battery installed in the machine. Do not use
another battery charger. The Li-ion battery is
protected against deep discharging. When the
battery is empty, the machine is switched off by
means of a protective circuit: the tool holder no
longer rotates.
Caution: if the On/Off switch is subject to
continued use, the Li-ion battery can be
damaged.
The charging procedure starts as soon as the
mains plug of the battery charger is inserted into
the socket the machine is placed onto the
charger.

Place the machine onto the charger.
•
Plug the mains adapter into the (wall) socket
•
The charging process starts when the red light
comes on.
•
The battery is fully charged when the green
light comes on.
•
During the charging procedure, the handgrip
of the machine warms up. This is normal.
4. ACCESSORIES FOR THE
COMBITOOL
The Combitool is designed to use the standard
accessories of Ferm, Dremel, Black & Decker,
Bosch or Proxxon. Always check that the
maximum rpm of the accessory is suitable for the
maximum speed of the Combitool.

Some hints in regard to speed
Always practice on a piece of scrap to choose the
correct accessory and the optimum operational
speed.
•
Use low speed (with respect to high
temperatures) with plastics and other
materials with a low melting temperature.
•
Use low speed (with respect to damaging the
brushes) during cleaning, polishing and
brushing.
•
Use high speed when working with steel or iron.

With the speed adjusting buttons (6), the speed
can be selected. The colour of the speed
indicator (7) depends on the speed.

Tip for cutting: Use paraffin or other suitable
lubricant on the cutter to prevent the cut material
from adhering to the cutter teeth.
Grinding stones

When using a grinding stone the first time, use
the dressing stone to balance it.
The dressing stone can also be used for cleaning
the surface or to give the grinding stone a special
shape.

5. VEDLIGEHOLDELSE
Maskinerne er udviklet til at fungere længe uden
problemer med et minimum af vedligeholdelse.
Ved at rengøre maskinen regelmæssigt og
behandle den korrekt, bidrager De til en længere
levetid for maskinen.
Rengøring
Rengør regelmæssigt maskinkappen med en
blød klud, helst efter hvert brug. Sørg for at
ventilationshullerne er fri for støv og snavs. Brug
en blød klud, der er vædet i sæbevand til at
fjerne hårdnakket snavs. Brug ingen
opløsningsmidler, så som benzin, alkohol,
ammoniak, osv. Den slags stoffer beskadiger
kunststofdelene.

Smøring
Maskinen behøver ingen ekstra smøring.
Fejl
Skulle en fejl opstå, f.eks. pga. slidtage af en
enhed, kontakt venligst serviceadressen på
garantibeviset. På bagsiden af denne manual
finder du en tegning med alle dele, der kan
bestilles.
Miljø
For at undgå transportbeskadigelse leveres
maskinen i en solid emballage. Emballagen er så
vidt muligt lavet af genbrugsmateriale. Genbrug
derfor emballagen.
Defekte og/eller kasserede elektriske
eller elektroniske maskiner skal
afleveres på en genbrugsplads.
