Before every ride, make sure that the seat post and saddle are cor-

rectly fitted and will not twist.
Before every ride, actuate the seat post multiple times to make sure

that your MAGURA seat post is leak-tight and shows no sign of oil leaks
on screws, inner tube and seals, or any other visible mechanical damage.
Before every ride make sure that your seat post operates correctly.

Î – Never use your MAGURA seat post in case of visible damage, unusual
noise, or if you are unsure as to its condition. In this case, have your
seat post checked in a specialist bicycle workshop or directly by
MAGURA Service.

Always actuate the seat post with the eLECT remote control while

riding – never directly from the eLECT unit.
Pressing the round button on the remote control actuates the switching

process inside the seat post:
- press button/valve opens (OPENING ~0.5 s)
- seat post is free (FREE ~0.5 s)
- switching valve closes (CLOSING ~0.5 s)
Within this time window you can lower your seat post (load by body
weight) or extend it (remove the load).
If your desired saddle height is not reached within this time window,
repeat the switching process.
Lowering
Load seat post and keep it loaded (body weight).
