Clean froth nozzle 13 each time after using.
q Immerse the hose 13/f into a receptacle of warm water.
q Place an appropriate receptacle under the froth
nozzle 13.
q Press the = 2b button.

Risk of scalding! Risk of burns!
Pressing = may cause it to spurt slightly.
Escaping steam is very hot.
Do not touch the froth nozzle 13 or direct it at people.
q Run approx. one cup of water through.
q End the process by repressing the= 2b button.
q Wipe exterior of the froth nozzle 13 after cooling.
q Dismantle froth nozzle 13 for thorough cleaning.
In addition to the automatic cleaning programme,
the brewing unit can be taken out for cleaning.
q Switch off unit using button
q Set mains switch 1 to 0.
q Open the door to the brewing unit 17 with a coin.
q While keeping the red button 18a pressed, turn handle
18b upwards until clicking into place can be heard.
q Carefully take out the brewing unit 18 by the handle and
clean under running water.
Important:
Clean without detergent and do not put into the
dishwasher.
q Vacuum the interior of the unit or wipe out using a damp
cloth.
q Let the brewing unit 18 and unit interior dry.
q Enter brewing unit as far as it will go.
q While keeping the red button 18a pressed, turn handle
18b downwards as far as it will go.
The brewing unit is secured.
q Lock the door 17 to the brewing unit with a coin.
