Installing Travel Power
When mounting the cable, proceed as follows:
➤ Determine the best route to install the shielded cable between the
power box and the generator.
➤ Prepare the installation by drilling holes for necessary passages.
➤ Fasten the cable.
➤ Before connecting the cable to the generator tension relieving turns
should be made on the cable between the generator and the mounting
point on the chassis (fig. d, page 9).
Make two or three turns hold together by a cable binder.
This procedure helps to reduce the cable tension between the
generator and the mounting point in the chassis.
➤ Connect the cable's generator connectors to the sockets on the
generator (fig. e, page 9).
Each cable conductor is marked with a number between 1 and 5.
Insert each cable conductor into the socket plug with corresponding
number.
Fasten cable conductor with the screws M3 x 0.5 mm.
Be very careful, maximum torque: 0.3 – 0.5 Nm.

WARNING!
Travel Power must not be used unless all parts in the shielded cable are
carefully connected at both ends.
➤ Secure carefully the contacts via the shield at both ends. Ground the
shield at the generator side.
