Shut off plant or plant component.

Secure against recommissioning.

Depressurize the plant or plant

component.
The operator must carry out regular visual
examination of the actuators dependent on
the operating conditions and the potential
danger in order to prevent leakage and
damage.

General information regarding
actuator replacement
The following tools are required
for replacing the actuator:
Open-end wrench
Ring wrench
Position of the shut-off valve:
ADA / ASR
SZ
Read the position of the shut-off valve
G
on the groove SZ and compare it with
the optical position indicator, then rotate
the actuator into the correct position if
necessary.
Groove SZ transverse to piping direction:

Actuator closed.
Groove SZ in piping direction:
®
Actuator open.

Replacing the actuator
Depressurize the control medium.

Unscrew the control medium line(s) on
G
the actuator.
14.2.1 Removing the actuator
Unscrew the hexagon head bolts /
G
hexagon nuts 32.
Do not lose the washers 31.
G
The actuator A can be removed from the
G
valve body.
14.2.2 Mounting the actuator
Place the new actuator A onto the valve
G
body.
Insert washers 31 into the stud bolts /
G
