Now that you are familiar with Focus's components, review the instructions on the
following pages to operate the Focus unit.

Operating Instructions

1. Locate and position Focus so that the air inlet and outlet are not
obstructed.
2. Power the unit from (a) the battery; (b) DC outlet (i.e. automobile or motor
boat); or (c) an AC outlet (i.e. normal household electric). (Refer to the
Power Supplies section of this Patient Manual.
(Refer to Connecting to Focus's Power Inlet section for specific
instructions on the connection of power sources.)
3. Securely connect your cannula to the oxygen outlet, as shown in
Figure 18.
