QUICK START REMOTE CONTROLLER

Remote controller unit

OPEN/CLOSE Opens or closes disc tray.
SETUP Customizes DVD/DVB player settings.
PBC The button turns on/off the Playback Control function
during SVCD or VCD playback.
NTSC/PAL Switch TV System between NTSC, PAL and MULTI.
I/P Change Video Output Signal between Interleaved and
Progressive Scan.
Digits Used for direct selection of TV channel, menu choices,
audio tracks, and other inputs such as time and password.
INFO Display state information in DVD or DVB mode.
TITLE Enters the title menu for DVD discs.
MENU
Some DVDs have complex submenus. This button allows
access to these submenus.

/VOL- Used for navigation within a selection menu, also used for
Volume decrease in DVB mode.

/VOL+ Used for navigation within a selection menu, also used for
Volume increase in DVB mode.

/CH+ Used for navigation within a selection menu, also used for
select next TV channel in DVB mode.
q
/CH- Used for navigation within a selection menu, also used for
select previous TV channel in DVB mode.
ENTER Choose the selected item.
TV/DVD Switch to DVD or DVB mode.
STOP Stops playback.
PAUSE Pause the playback of disc.
PLAY Starts playing the disc.
MUTE To mute the sound of playback.
AUDIO During playback of a DVD disc with more than two audio
languages, this button changes the audio language
played.
TV/RADIO Switch to receive TV or Radio signal when DVB mode.
STB/VCR Switch VCR input signal to TV when the VCR has connect
to Scart Input port.

REW Fast reverse scan during playback. Toggles between X2,
X4, X6, and X8.

FWD Fast forward scan during playback. Toggles between X2,
X4, X6, and X8.

PREV Goes back to the previous chapter during play.

NEXT Skips to the next chapter during playback.
SLOW Engages slow-motion forward/reverse playback.
STEP Pauses the playback and enters into step mode where the
video can be advanced frame by frame.
GOTO Enables search mode by title/chapter and time.
CLEAR Clear number pad input.
VOCAL To switch the output audio in MONO LEFT, MONO RIGHT,
and STEREO modes during SVCD, VCD, and CDDA
playback.
SHUFFLE Random play.
A-B Displays A-B repeat playback.
REPEAT Shows repeat playback for one title, or all titles on the disc.
SUBTITLE During playback of DVD discs with more than two subtitle
languages, this button toggles between available subtitle
languages.
ANGLE If the DVD disc contains multiple view angles, this button
will change the viewing angle displayed by the DVD player.
ZOOM Enters the zoom mode (X1, X2) during playback.
FAVOR Display the favorite program list.
EPG Display EPG(Electronic Program Guide) information.
TELETEXT Display TELETETX information.
