Function Setting
Audio Setup
Consists of six sub-menus, select item of lower sub-
menus while press ▲ and ▼.

Digital Out
Consists of three items: SPDIF/PCM, SPDIF/RAW
and Off.

SPDIF/RAW:
Set to this selection will output the raw bit stream signal of Dolby® Digital or DTS from the
coaxial jack. In order to enjoy Dolby® Digital DTS discs, this unit's digital output jack must be
connected to the digital-input jack of a Dolby® Digital or DTS compatible receiver or
processor.

SPDIF/PCM:
PCM stands for Pulse Code Modulation and is digital audio. Connecting this unit to an
amplifier with a built-in D/A converter can play the same digital audio format as on CDs.
Additionally, 2channel analogue audio will output from the audio output jacks of amplifier.

Analog Out
Consists of two items: 2 Channel and 5.1 Channel.
If you have connected a stereo source on the RCA (Cinch) jack, this must be set to stereo by
setting center, rear and subwoofer channel to OFF. When set accordingly, any 5.1 signal source
(e.g. Dolby Digital) is downmixed to these stereo outputs. Whenever you experience abnormal
sound when using stereo connection, please first check if the other channels are deactivated.

Center
Set the Center speakers On or Off.

Rear
Set the Rear speakers On or Off.
l
Subwoofer
Set the Subwoofer speakers On or Off.

Speaker Test
Test the output ability of left, center, right, right surround, and left surround speakers in
sequence.
