5.3 Switching off the display
If no button (6, 7) has been pressed for approx.
30 s, the display (8) will be switched off automati-
cally. To switch it on again, press a button. The
adjustments will not be changed by this first press
of a button.
5.4 Key lock
The buttons (6, 7) may be locked against acciden-
tal operation. For this purpose keep the button
MODE (6) pressed for 3 s as a minimum. The dis-
play (8) now shows alternately
ating mode and the adjustments of the unit cannot
be changed any more.
To release the key lock, press the button MODE
for 3 s as a minimum.
6 Cleaning of the Unit
The plastic pane in front of the LEDs should be
cleaned from the outside at regular intervals,
depending on impurities caused by dust, smoke or
other dirt particles. Only this will ensure that the
light is radiated at maximum brightness. For clean-
ing, disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
Only use a soft, clean cloth and a mild detergent.
Then wipe the pane dry.
For cleaning the other parts of the housing, only
use a soft, clean cloth. Never use any fluid; it may
leak into the unit and cause damage.
