9.3. Adjustment of the ON/OFF timer


Keep the single coffee dose push-button pressed
to switch ON the machine. The LED lights
switch ON.

The coffee resistor indicator light

3140/3145), there is a steam resistor indicator light
which only switches ON once the coffee circuit
has reached operating temperature (coffee circuit
priority heating).


9.5. Coffee delivery


Remove the filter holder from its seat, turning it in
the clockwise direction.

Fill the filter with one or two doses of coffee
(according to the filter inserted), using the
appropriate doser. Only mod. 3135/3145) see
sections 9.9 and 9.10.

Compact the coffee with the supplied presser. Only
mod. 3135/3145 has the presser mounted to the
machine.

Replace and tighten the filter holder in its seat,
turning it in the anti-clockwise direction.

Position the cups under the corresponding outlets
beneath the filter holder.

Press the deliver coffee push-button
, and coffee delivery begins after a few seconds.
Once the programmed dose has been delivered, it
stops.
The water level in the reservoir 10 must be
checked regularly, to avoid the pump sucking
air during the coffee delivery stage and
unexpectedly becoming noisy with a resulting drop in
pressure.

In this case, immediately stop delivery, restore water to
the reservoir and repeat the steps required to start the
machine for service. It is recommended to pay attention
to the hot parts of the machine, especially the delivery
group and the steam tap. Never place the hands under
the steam nozzle or the group when they are in
operation.

9.6. Steam delivery


Rotate the water/steam nozzle anti-clockwise to
open it.

Press the steam
light flashes to indicate heating has started; wait a
few seconds before beginning steam delivery from
the steam nozzle.

Delivery stops at the end of the programmed time
or by pressing again.

9.7. Cappuccino

To achieve a 'cappuccio' with a creamy foam, follow
these steps:

Use a tall, narrow container approximately half
filler with milk.

Rotate the water/steam nozzle anti-clockwise to
open it.

Press the steam
light flashes to indicate heating has started; wait a
few seconds before beginning steam delivery from
the steam nozzle.

Immerse the steam nozzle half-way into the liquid
to be heated. Delivery will stop at the end of the
programmed delivery time, or having reached the
desired temperature, press
delivery.

Pour the whipped, creamy milk into the cup.

Once the drink is heated, release some steam to
clean the sprayer outlet holes and clean with a
damp cloth.

9.8. Hot water delivery


Rotate the water/steam nozzle anti-clockwise to
open it.

Place the container to be used to collect water
below the water / steam nozzle.

Press the deliver hot water

will begin after a few seconds.

Delivery stops at the end of the programmed time
or by pressing
