If necessary, use the included ice

The fridge
fridge has an automatic defrosting
fridge
fridge
system. During defrosting water drops
drains off at the back of the cooling
chamber. The thaw water running
through a channel, is collected in a drip
tray located on the compressor, where it
will evaporate. Make sure the water dis-
charge opening does not get clogged. A
light formation of ice on the interior back
during operation is normal.
To achieve better cooling and to save
energy, defrost the freezer
follows:
To start the defrosting process turn
•
the temperature control to the off
state and disconnect the plug or turn
off the fuse.
Remove the food items and keep
•
covered at a cool location.
When the ice has melted, wipe the
•
condensate away and dry the appli-
ance interior.
Then you may restart the appliance
•
by connecting the plug and turning
the temperature control.
