• When charging rechargeable batteries, always observe the instruc-
tions of the corresponding rechargeable battery manufacturer.
• In the case of improper handling (too high charging currents or
wrong polarization) the rechargeable battery might be overloaded
or destroyed. At worst the rechargeable battery might explode
and can cause substantial damage.
• When working on the charger the wearing of metal or conducting
jewellery such as chains, bracelets, rings or similar is not allowed.
• Power supply units or chargers are not permitted to be used on
humans or animals.
• Keep transmitting installations (radio-telephones, transmitting
installations for model constructions etc.) away from the charger,
since the incident transmitting radiant emission could lead to
interference of the charging process and/or the destruction of the
charger and therefore also the rechargeable batteries.
• Broken batteries or ones that can no longer be recharged have to
be disposed off as special waste (collecting points), they must not
be thrown away with normal waste.
• If there is reason to believe that safe operation has become
impossible put the device out of operation and secure it against
any unintended operation. Safe operation must be presumed to
be no longer possible, if
- the device exhibits visible damage
- the device does not operate any longer and
- the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long
period of time or
- after exposure to extraordinary stress caused by transport.
• Never connect your charger straight away with the mains when it
has been brought from a cold to a warm room. Condensation
water that forms might destroy your device under unfavourable
conditions. Leave the device switched off and wait until it has rea-
ched room temperature.

Veillez à la propreté des contacts des accus et du chargeur.
N'utiliser le chargeur que dans des pièces non humides !
Protégez l'appareil contre tout contact avec des huiles, des grais-
ses, des détergents agressifs, des diluants; ils pourraient endom-
mager le boîtier. Séparez toujours l'appareil des accus et de la bat-
terie d'alimentation en cas de non utilisation, de nettoyage ou
d'entretien de l'appareil.
Attention !
Tenez absolument compte des instructions/prescriptions de
charge du fabricant de l'accu.
Elimination des déchets
Jetez le chargeur devenu inutilisable (irréparable) suivant les lois en
vigueur.

technique. Des problèmes et dérangements pourraient cependant
survenir. C'est pourquoi nous vous décrivons ci-après comment
parer vous-même relativement facilement à ces dérangements.
