6 FURThER INFORMATION

6.1 cOnnectiOn cHecK

When (and as long as) the parent unit is in contact with the baby unit, the connec-
tion LED
When the baby unit gets out of range (or is switched off), the connection LED
on the parent unit will start to flash and the text [ SEARChING ] will be displayed. If
the connection is not restored within 30 seconds, a beep will sound every 10 sec-
onds and the text [ NOT LINKED ] will be displayed.
Once the connection between the parent unit and the baby unit is restored, the
connection LED will be lit steadily and the text [ NOT LINKED ] will disappear from
the display.
Additionally, when the units are loading up, the connection LED will blink for a few
seconds during which time the units will search for one another. When the connec-
tion is made, the LED will be lit steadily.
NOTE: if the Full Eco mode is enabled, the connection check will not function and
the connection LED will remain off!

6.2 Battery indicatOr

Both the parent and baby units come equipped with a battery level indicator in the
display:
: Battery full

• The battery indicator will not be displayed when the baby unit is powered only
by the power adapter.
• The battery indicator will be displayed and will indicate the battery level when
the baby unit is powered by batteries.
• When the battery indicator on the baby unit indicates the batteries are empty
(
point we advise you to replace the batteries in the baby unit or to connect the
power adapter. NOTE: when the parent unit is in alarm mode, this warning
text will not be displayed.
• If you do not change the batteries or do not connect the power adapter, the
baby unit will switch off after a while. The connection LED on the parent unit
will also start flashing and the text [ NOT LINKED ] will be displayed on the
parent unit. Once you replace the batteries or connect the power adapter, the
functions will operate as normal again.
