g)Original Setting of the DVD-Player/Set-up, Key "SETUP"
With this key the set-up of the DVD-player may be invoked, see point 10 of this operating manual.
h) Key "RETURN"
It serves e.g. for leaving the set-up or for leaving other invoked functions.
i) Selecting the Audio Cannel of the DVD, Key "AUDIO STREAM"
Select with this key the audio channel of the DVD.
Please note that some DVDs do not permit a change of audio channels during the playback. For doing so
please invoke the main menu of the DVD with the key "MENU" and select there the desired audio channel.
j) Key "TITLE"
If there are more than one titles on the DVD (rarely the case) you may select one or switch from one to
another by using this key. If the DVD contains only one title the main menu of the DVD might be invoked.
k) Playing the Film in Slow Motion/Backwards, Key "SLOW/STEP" of the
Remote Control
With this key the DVD can be played in slow motion or even backwards in slow motion.
Press the key "SLOW/STEP" during the playback for half the speed (display "SF 2"), by pressing the key
once again the speed is _ of the normal speed (display "SF 4") then 1/8 of the normal speed (display "SF 8").
Pressing the key "SLOW/STEP" once again makes the film playing backwards with half the speed (display
"SR 2"), by pressing the key once again the speed is _ (display "SR 4") then 1/8 (display SR 8)of the normal
speed.

l) Selecting the Angle of View of the DVD, Key "ANGLE"
With this key you may select the different angles of view of the DVD.
For this the film on the DVD or parts of it must contain several angles of view. As this is com-
plicated and costly when making the film and requires a lot of storage location there are only
very few DVDs that permit several angles of view for one scene of a film.
m) Selecting Subtitles, Key "SUB PIC" of the Remote Control
During the playback subtitles can be faded in. Depending on the content of a DVD numerous languages can
be chosen.
Press the key as many times as necessary to select the desired language of the subtitles or until the subti-
tles are deactivated.
12. Playing an Audio-CD

Open the motor tray with the key "
". Remove the inserted DVD/CD if any and insert the audio-CD in
such a way that the writing is up.

Close the motor tray with the key "

If the playback does not start automatically press the key "

7. Fonctions de base
Allumez l'ampli tuner DVD par l'interrupteur principal. Le témoin LED Standby placé sur l'interrupteur princi-
pal s'allume. Appuyez sur la touche "POWER ON/STANDBY" de la télécommande pour mettre l'ampli tuner
DVD en marche. Le témoin LED Standby s'éteint
Appuyez la touche "SOURCE" de la télécommande (ou la touche "SOURCE" sur le devant de l'ampli tuner
DVD), jusqu'à ce que l'entrée souhaitée apparaisse sur l'écran :

TAPE
onnexion "AUX" activée pour la reproduction

VIDEO1
connexion "VIDEO1" activée

Dans ce mode, quand l'ampli tuner DVD est relié au téléviseur par la prise SCART, l'image nor-
male de télévision apparaît (la tension de commutation de la prise SCART est désactivée).
Il est possible de régler le volume par les touches "VOL " et "VOL " de la télécommande.
Le réglage du volume peut aussi se faire par le régleur se trouvant sur le devant de l'ampli tuner DVD. Tour-
ner dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre augmente le volume, tourner dans le sens contraire des aiguilles
d'une montre permet de baisser le son.
8. Mode Radio
Appuyez la touche "SOURCE" (G) de la télécommande, jusqu'à ce que
"FM" (pour la radio en FM) ou "MW" (pour la radio en PO) soient affi-
chés sur l'écran. Réglez le volume souhaité par les touches VOLU-
ME " et "VOLUME ".
a) Recherche automatique des stations de radio
Appuyez sur la touche "AUTO" (F) de la télécommande, de manière à
ce que l'affichage "AUTO" apparaisse sur l'écran. Pour démarrer la
recherche, appuyez sur la touche "TUNING+" (H) ou "TUNING-" (I).
Quand une station de radio suffisamment puissante est trouvée, la
recherche automatique s'arrête dessus.
b) Recherche manuelle des stations de radio
Appuyez sur la touche "AUTO" (F) de la télécommande, de manière à
ce que l'affichage "AUTO" n'apparaisse pas sur l'écran.
A chaque fois que vous appuyez sur la touche "TUNING+" (H) ou
"TUNING-" (I) il y a avance ou recul de 50kHz pour la FM et de 9kHz
pour les PO.
En appuyant continuellement sur l'une des deux touches "TUNING",
l'avance / le recul est continuel jusqu'à ce que vous relâchiez la touche
à nouveau.
