10.9.Motion detection settings

1) Click on the "Security Setup" icon
2) Click on "Motion Sensor" in the settings sub-menu.
3) Set the desired sensitivity level between 0 - 100. Small objects or objects moving at a great distance,
such as birds, are not detected when the sensitivity level is low. Big or closer moving objects, such as
people passing by, can be detected when the sensitivity level is increased.
4) Set the alarm period (5 to 45 seconds). Bear in mind that this function requires loudspeakers to be
connected to the PC and switched on.
5) Set the alarm type when a motion is detected. Select between "Alarm only" and "Alarm and Record".
6) Click on the loudspeaker icon to activate (loudspeaker symbol displayed) or deactivate (loudspeaker
symbol crossed out) the acoustic alarm.
7) Click on the SAVE button to save the settings.
To enable motion detection, the recording settings have to be made. Note the chapter "RECORD
SCHEDULE".
