d) Connecting the rechargeable
flight battery
Note:
When switching the quadrocopter on, it starts
to sync digitally with the transmitter. Only after
the transmitter and receiver have been synced
(paired), will the model respond to the commands
by the transmitter. For that reason, it is imperative
that you proceed as followed when switching the
unit on:
Place the quadrocopter on an even surface (desk
top, or similar). Check the on/off switch (1) of the
quadrocopter. When viewed from behind, it must
be on the right position (OFF) (see top illustration
in figure 7).
Connect the non-polarized connector of the
rechargeable flight battery (2) to the connector of
the main board (3).
Move the transmitter's control sticks for pitch and
yaw functions (fig. 1, pos. 11) towards the bottom
position and turn on the transmitter using the on/off
switch (fig. 1, pos. 3).
After having switched on the transmitter,
immediately turn on the quadrocopter (ON) using
the on/off switch (1).
The red LED on the main board flashes several
times and starts flashing steadily after approx. 3-5
seconds.
The quadrocopter is then paired with the
transmitter and ready for use.
It is important not to move the model during switch-
on operation.
Note:
If the red LED on the main board continues to
flash, the pairing operation has failed and must be
repeated from the start.
