b) Before first use
• Always switch the transmitter on first before switching on the quadrocopter. That is
necessary for the transmitter and the receiver to sync and for the model to respond safely to
the control commands by the transmitter.
• Check the functional safety of your model and remote control unit. Check for visible damage
such as defect connectors or damaged cables. All movable parts of the model must run
smoothly and their bearings must not display any signs of tolerance.
• The rechargeable flight battery required for operation must be charged before use. Make
sure the batteries in the transmitter are of sufficient residual capacity (battery tester or
transmitter indicator). If the batteries are empty, always replace all batteries at the same
time and not just one single cell.
c) During use
• Do not take any risks when operating the product! Your own safety and that of your
surrounding depends solely on you operating the model responsibly.
• Improper use can cause serious injury and damage! Always ensure sufficient safety distance
to persons, animals and objects during flight. Never try to reach for the model with your hand!
• Only use the model if your ability to respond is unrestrained. Fatigue or the influence of
alcohol or drugs can cause erroneous reactions.
• The motors, motor controls and rechargeable flight battery can become hot during use.
For that reason, wait for 5-10 minutes before recharging the rechargeable flight battery or
starting to fly again with a second, fully charged rechargeable flight battery.
• Always leave the remote control unit (transmitter) switched on as long as the model is in
use. After landing, always disconnect the flight battery from the quadrocopter first before
switching off the remote control unit.
• Never switch off the transmitter during operation, as long as the quadrocopter is still in use.
• Do not expose your model or the remote control unit to extended periods of direct sunlight
or extreme heat.
