1.
Connect the white adapter plug's connector to the plug of the temperature sensor cable, observing
the correct polarity.
2.
Then, again observing the correct polarity, connect the white adapter plug with the COM socket
(10) and the V/Hz%/Ω/Cap/ºC socket until they are level with the measurement device (positive
terminal = V/Hz%/Ω/Cap/ºC socket / negative terminal = COM socket).
3.
Turn the range selection switch to „0.1ºC" or „1ºC" to set the measurement range.
4.
Now take the temperature sensor and direct the metallic sensor to a de-energised heat source
(e.g. non-acid liquid or solid state body, or similar).
5.
The display will show the temperature reading in °C (degree Celsius).

Illuminance measurement

The illuminance measurements are designed for comparative measurements in domestic applications,
not for professional uses. Illuminance is measured via a silicon photodiode with filter built into the
multitester; this filter lets light pass in a range of 400 nm to 700 nm (for filter spectrum, see table
illustration). This is the range visible to the human eye. The illumination level at a workstation is
between ca. 300 to 1000 lux.
1.
Turn the range selection switch to „Lux" or „x10Lux" to set the measuring range.
2.
Position the multitester in the environment you would like to measure. The best measurement
results are achieved by positioning the multitester with the sensor (lamp symbol) facing directly
towards the light source.
3.
The measured illuminance is shown in „lux" on the display.

frequency measurement

1.
Connect the black measuring line with the COM socket and the red measuring line with the V/
Hz%/Ω/Cap/ºC socket until they are level with the measuring instrument.
2.
Set the range selection switch to position „Hz%".
3.
Now connect the two test prods with the object to be measured to show the measured frequency
on the display.
The measurement readings are automatically displayed together with the applicable
units such as Hz, kHz or MHz.
