Adjusting the "SOUND" setting
The "SOUND" menu allows you to
adjust the sound setting.

Press MENU.

Press v or V to select
"SOUND," then press OK.

Press v or V to select the
desired item, and press B
or b to adjust the value or
select the desired option
(see the table below).

Select "RESET" and press OK to reset the sound to the factory preset settings.

Press B to
decrease higher-pitched sound
decrease lower-pitched sound
Press B or b to select "MONO" or "STEREO" for a stereo broadcast,
or "MONO," "A" or "B" for a bilingual broadcast cyclically.
MONO/STEREO: Select "STEREO" or "MONO" for a stereo
broadcast.
MONO/A/B: Select "A" for sound channel 1, "B" for sound channel 2
or "MONO" for monaural channel if available.
Notes
• If the signal is very weak, the sound becomes monaural
automatically.
• If the stereo sound is noisy when receiving a NICAM programme,
select "MONO." The sound becomes monaural, but the noise is
reduced.
