e) Installing the elevator
Thread the elevator linkage guide (1) onto the elevator linkage (2).
Glue the guide to the fuselage using 5-minute epoxy glue.
Make sure that the linkage does not come into contact with the glue!
Push the lower half of the elevator (1) under the linkage wire (2) and align the
elevator as illustrated.
Apply 5-minute epoxy glue to the upper half and glue it onto the lower half.
Make sure that both halves are placed exactly on top of each other.
When the glue has hardened, blunt the edges using fine sandpaper.
Tip: When gluing, weight down the elevator with a heavy object to apply pressure
evenly.
