Note:
The freezer compartment door engages audibly.
Ensure that the freezer compartment door has been
closed properly. If the door is open, the frozen food will
thaw. The freezer compartment will become covered
in thick ice.
Also: waste of energy due to high power consumption!

The close" display indicates whether the freezer
compartment door has been closed properly:
red display: the freezer compartment door is open

Fast freezing

Fresh food is best frozen by switching on the fast freeze"
function before freezing the food.
The fast freeze" function should be switched on for
4-6 hours before the fresh food is placed in the freezer.
up to 7 days
To switch on fast freezing, press super" button 2.
up to 10 days
super" display 4 and SU" display 6 come on.
up to 15 days
Fast freeze" automatically switches off after 24 hours.

Storing deep frozen food
and making ice
When purchasing deep frozen food, comply with
the following:

Check that the packaging is not damaged.
Check the sell by date.
The temperature of the supermarket freezer should
be -18 °C or lower. If not, the storage life of the food
is reduced.
Purchase deep frozen food last. Wrap in newspaper
or place in a cold bag and take home.
At home immediately place deep frozen food in the
freezer compartment. Close the freezer compartment
door properly. Use the deep frozen food before the
sell by date runs out.
Do not refreeze thawed food. Exception: If you
use the food to make a ready meal (boiling or frying),
you can refreeze this ready meal.
