Program F ALU- 4
1
4
For Alloy and steel rims with a weight
clip attached to the rim flange on the left
and an adhesive weight attached to the
rim flange or bead seat on the outside
right side.
There are two alternatives for this program:
Single point measurement
Measurement is taken as described in Point 1 (see above) and
the weight position is calculated as a standard value.
Two point measurement
Measurements are taken from the point of desired weight
placement.
Data entry: Single point measurement BM 10 / 20 / 30
Rim distance with BM 10 / 20 / 30 automatically
calculated.
Extend the inside gauge to position 1 (see above) and
hold until an audible signal is heard. Return the gauge
to the home position. Another signal indicates that it is
in the home position.
Only BM 10
Enter the rim diameter using +/-.
Enter the rim diameter checking the measurement
stamped on the rim.
The position for the rim diameter is calculated automati-
cally for all other models.
BM 10 / 20 / 30
Rim width enter using key +/-.
Data entry: Two point measurement BM 40 / 50
Extend the inside gauge head to the desired position 1
(see above) and hold until an audible signal is heard.
Return the gauge to the home position. Another audible
signal can be heard.
Move the outside gauge directly to position 4 (see
above) and hold until another audible signal is heard.
Return the gauge to the home position.
Another signal indicates that the gauges are in the
home position.

For alloy rims with adhesive weights
both left and right below the rim flange
Rim distance with BM 10 / 20 / 30 automatically
calculated.
Extend the inside gauge to position 1 (see above) and
hold until an audible signal is heard. Return the gauge
to the home position. Another signal indicates that it is
in the home position.
Enter the rim diameter using +/-.
Enter the rim diameter checking the measurement
stamped on the rim.
The position for the rim diameter is calculated automati-
cally for all other models.
Rim width enter using key +/-.
Extend the inside gauge head to the desired position 2
(see above) and hold until an audible signal is heard.
Return the gauge to the home position. Another audible
signal can be heard.
Move the outside gauge directly to position 3 (see
above) and hold until another audible signal is heard.
Then move the outside gauge to position 4 (see above)
and hold until an audible signal is heard. Return the
gauge to the home position and an audible signal will
indicate that it is in the home position.
