5 TRWinProg Parameterization
The following parameters and values of parameter are device-specific and refer to
standard devices. For the measuring system are valid only the parameters, which are
adjustable over the TR-WinProg-surface!

5.1 Basic Values

5.1.1 Counting direction

5.1.2 Scaling parameters

The scaling parameters can be used to change the physical resolution of the
measuring system. The position value output is calculated with a zero point correction
and count direction set. The measuring system does not support decimal numbers or
numbers of revolutions deviating from exponents of 2 (gearbox function).

5.1.2.1 Measuring length

Indicates the complete measuring length of the measuring system before it restarts
at zero.
The upper limit for the measurement length in steps is depending on the measuring
system version and can be calculated with the formula below. As the value "0" is
already counted as step, the end value = Measuring length in steps – 1.
To calculate, the parameters Number of steps per revolution and the Number of
revolutions can be read on the measuring system nameplate.

5.1.2.2 Revolution count

Indicates the Number of revolutions before the measuring system restarts at zero.
