Proper Use
This unit is designated exclusively for cleaning indoor areas.
It is only suitable for private use.
The vacuum's battery (rechargeable battery pack) should be used while taking
a few precautions in order to provide for trouble-free function. Please comply
with these notes:
The vacuum cleaner may not be charged in an area at temperatures below
0 °C or at temperatures over 40 °C.
Observe only the charging procedure designated for the unit.
This unit is not designed to be used by persons (including children) with
impaired physical, sensory or mental abilities or those lacking experience
and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by a person responsible for
their safety.
Charge the unit after each use. If you do not use it for a prolonged period
of time, store the handheld vacuum cleaner with floor cleaning function in
a cool area and charge it at least every 6 months.
Always turn off the vacuum cleaner when changing the filter.
Do not vacuum up any flammable substances or smouldering objects.
Do not vacuum up any sharp objects such as glass splinters.
Never oil the motor.
Never leave the vacuum cleaner in direct sunlight.
Never leave or set the battery in the vicinity of a heat source.
The vacuum cleaner features a rechargeable battery pack (9.6 V,
NiMH), which is integrated in the handheld cleaner. Do not dispose of the
rechargeable batteries in fire. Store them properly.
The unit is not suitable for commercial applications.
Only use the device if it has been completely assembled.
The filter may not exhibit any damages!
Should you pass the device on to others at some time, please do not
forget to include the operating instructions.
Never attempt to open the unit or its mains adapter or to replace
the connector cord yourself. For damages and repairs, please contact the
customer service centre.
A considerable hazard exists for the user if the repairs are performed
improperly.
Keep hair, loose-fitting clothing, fingers and all parts of your body away
from the openings and mobile parts.
