• Only use the device as described in this instruction manual. Any
other use is deemed improper.
• Defects arising due to improper handling, damage or attempts
at repair are excluded from the warranty. This also applies to
normal wear and tear.

Risks of injury
• Keep children and pets away from the packaging wrapper.
Danger of suffocation exists!
• This device may be used by children ages 8 and over as well
as persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capacities
or those lacking experience and/or knowledge if they are super-
vised or have been instructed in how to safely use the device
and have understood the risks associated with operating the de-
vice. Children may not play with the device. Cleaning and user
maintenance must not be performed by unsupervised children.
• Be absolutely sure to wear closed shoes when using the device!
• Keep the nozzles, handle and telescoping tube away from body
parts, hair and animals at all times during operation. They could
be caught in the vacuum cleaner. If the vacuum cleaner becomes
plugged, immediately press the On/Off switch to turn off the device.
• Only use and store the device out of the reach of children.
Improper use may result in injury and electrical shock. The
mains cord may also not be accessible for children.
Connecting the vacuum cleaner properly
• Only connect the device to a properly installed socket. The socket
must also be easily accessible after the device has been connected.
The mains voltage must correspond to the technical data of the
device (see chapter "Technical data"). Only use proper extension
cords, whose technical data correspond to those of the device.
• Ensure that the connected mains cord does not pose a tripping
hazard.
• Lay the cable such that it is not crushed or creased and such
that it does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
