Switching on the answering machine from an
external extension
You can also switch on the answering machine from an external telephone
extension.
 Dial your telephone number.
 Wait for the recorded answer message to begin.
 Press the asterisk key (*) during the recorded answer message.
 You will hear a recorded announcement: "Please enter your remote
enquiry code."
 Enter the four-digit code. If there are new messages, they will now be
played back.
 The settings for the main menu (see previous page) can then be queried.
You must confirm the changes with the specified keys.
 To switch on the answering machine, press the number "7" key.

Deleting messages

PLEASE NOTE!
You can only delete messages that you have already played back
("Old Messages").

Deleting messages on the base station

 To delete a message, press the "Delete msg" key on
the base station during playback.
To delete all messages simultaneously, proceed as follows:
 End playback with the Play/Pause button.
 Press the "Delete" key on the base station for approx. three seconds.
You will now hear the announcement, "All old messages have been de-
leted". The number of new messages appears on the display.
