The product is maintenance-free for you. Servicing or repair must only be carried out by a specialist or specialist
workshop. The product contains no parts that require servicing by you. Therefore, do not open it. The LED luminaries
used are firmly installed and cannot be replaced.
Regularly check the technical safety of the effect spotlight, e.g. for damage to the mains cable or the casing.
If you have reason to believe that the device can no longer be operated safely, disconnect it immediately and make
sure it is not operated unintentionally. Pull the mains plug from the mains socket!
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device is visibly damaged
- the device no longer works
- the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for an extended period of time or
- after exposure to extraordinary stress caused by transport
The following safety notes must be observed for correction/repair:
Live components may be exposed if covers are opened or components are removed.
The device must be disconnected from all power sources before any servicing or repair work is carried out.
Capacitors inside the device may still carry voltage even though they have been disconnected from all
power sources.
Only electricians familiar with the hazards involved and the relevant regulations must perform service work
or corrections/repairs.
a) Cleaning
Always observe the following safety information before cleaning the outside of the effect beamer housing:
• Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket and the low-voltage line from the mains connection on the device.
• The outside of the effect light should only be cleaned with a soft, lint-free, dry cloth.
• After this, you can reconnect the device to the mains and take it into operation.
Never use any aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage the surface of the
casing.
The device should be cleaned at regular intervals. Strong contamination or dust may impair the insulation
resistance of the device.
Only electricians familiar with the hazards involved and the relevant regulations must remove contamination
in the device.
