ANTI-SCALE SYSTEM
This appliance has an electonic system which checks the water hardness.
The anti-scale cartridge will remove the scale from the water. Depending on the water
hardness and the use of the appliance, the anti-cal cartridge needs to be replaced on a
regular base. (+ every 6 months)
When you don't have a new cartridge available, you can also use distilled water for
ironing.
DRAINING THE WATER
Unplug the unit.
Remove the water tank.
Remove the anti-scale cartridge from the water tank.
Remove the water from the water tank by turning it upside down.
Replace the anti-scale cartridge.
Replace the water tank.

MAINTENANCE

Unplug the unit.
Use a damp cloth or a no abrasive cleaner to remove dirt from the sole plate.
Never use vinegar or aggresive cleaners to clean your iron.
