Storage (memorization) of oscillograms and
evaluation of the curves
The basic prerequisite to store oscillograms is that the Motor-
tester is in the oscilloscope mode (magnified representation of
the oscillogram).
During oscilloscope operation, two possibilities to store pictures
exist (picture memory „forward" and picture memory „back-
ward"). A maximum of up to 32 pictures are stored.
5.5.1 Picture memory „forward"
If the hardkey „Memorization" S is pressed during the oscillo-
scope mode (magnified representation of the oscillogram) or the
toggle switch is pressed at ignition point stroboscope, the following
oscillogram (max. 32 pictures) are stored.
The symbol S appears on the status line, at the right.
Press the hardkey „Return" O and 88/Wto terminate the
storage operation; pressing the other hardkeys or the softkeys
stops it.
A no triggerable input signal is made during standby mode
(manual triggering) after about 10 s, the operation is terminated.
The stored oscillograms can be called up individually as described
in Section 5.5.3.
5.5.2 Picture memory „backward"
If the hardkey „Memory reading" s is pressed during the os-
cilloscope mode (magnified representation of the oscillogram)
the oscillogram is frozen (stored). Furthermore, the last
oscillograms (max. 32 possible pictures) are stored which were
displayed on the Motortester before the hardkey „Memory reading"
s was pressed. The symbol s appears on the status line, at the
right.
The stored oscillograms can be called up individually as described
in Section 5.5.3.

5.5.3 Evaluation of the scope pattern
After the memorization, the following pattern appears
F1/2: Selection of the memorized pictures (max. 32)
The last picture stored is always indicated under
position 1. The picture position with the highest number
(e.g.: max. 32) indicates the first picture stored.
Depending on whether you page forward or backward
in the picture memory, the indicator of the little operating
mode clock springs one segment forward or backward
(one revolution equals 16 segments).
F3:
Change-over between normal representation and pattern
evaluation.
