Note!
With external voltage supply of the communication module, the active bus
terminating resistor is fed independently of the operation of the basic device.
Thus the bus system remains active even if the basic device is switched off or
fails.
If required, feed the communication module with a separate supply voltage via the
two-pole plug connector.
Use a separate supply unit in every control cabinet if the distance between the control
cabinets is larger than normal.

Only necessary, if the mains which supplies the corresponding controllers is
to be switched off but the communication must not be interrupted.
You can use the internal power supply for these controllers.
