Basic structure of an exercise lesson
Your exercise lesson should be structured according to the principle illustrated in the diagram below. From a therapeutic point of
view, this structure applies only in part. Specific recommendations can be found in the therapy program.
Warming-up
Ideally, you should do general and specific warming-up exercises prior to working out with the PROPRIOMED. This should take you
5 to 10 minutes.
General warming-up consists of specific exercises that involve the whole body. These include, for example, bicycle riding, jump roping,
walking or physical exercises.
Specific warming-up is about mobilizing the spine and the large extremity joints, in a targeted manner, such as hunching your back,
circular movements with your arms, legs and feet (preferably from behind outward) as well as pendular movements.

Criteria for stopping exercise and indications of excessive strain
Please observe the following criteria for stopping the exercise and indications of excessive strain:
· Pain
· Synkinesis (involuntary movement) of hands, thoracic and/or pelvic girdle
· The person can no longer keep the PROPRIOMED oscillating
· Cramping up of muscles
· Maximum exercise time (15 sec.) has been reached
