How to use this appliance
•
Pour the required amount of fresh water. Do not fill past the max. filling level marking.
•
Place steam cover and teapot onto the base unit.
•
Ensure that the adjusting knob is turned anticlockwise until it reaches its detent.
•
Then insert the plug into the mains socket.
•
Turn the adjusting knob clockwise to its detent. The thermostat allows stepless
adjustment of the degree of heat. You can choose between the settings: boil /
interval boil / hot / warm.
•
If you turn the adjusting knob to the detent, the water will boil rapidly. If you leave
the adjusting knob in this position, the water will boil continuously until it eventually
all evaporates. To prevent this uninterrupted boiling function, turn the adjusting knob
back until the blue signal light on the base unit goes out.
•
Now the thermostat only switches on again when the temperature of the water drops,
heating it again. In this way, the thermostat regulates energy supply in accordance
with requirements, saving a great deal of energy. The blue signal lamp switches on
and off in the thermostat cycle.
