modifications to the cabling or the connections of the batter-
ies yourself. Attempting to modify the cabling of the batteries
yourself can lead to serious injuries

The batteries of the UPS system are heavy. Use caution
when handling the heavy batteries
The batteries are located behind the front cover of the UPS system.
For better handling, the internal batteries are packaged together.
1. Remove the front cover (see Figure 11). First loosen both
screws on the right side of the cover. Then push the cover to
the left.
A ribbon cable connects the control panel with the UPS sys-
tem. Do not pull on the cable and do not separate the con-
nection.
