19. Make sure that the lead cable
does not touch the hot appli-
ance.
20. Do not use the appliance
near flammable liquids. Fire
hazard!
21. The appliance becomes hot
during operation. Please use
the handles or pot holders
when moving the appliance.
22. Do not leave the appliance
unattended when it is still
hot. Risk of burns!
23. Open the lid completely
when placing the dough onto
the waffle plates or removing
the waffles. Otherwise the lid
may fall down. Risk of burns
and injury!
24. For safety reasons never
cover the appliance or the
waffle plates with paper,
plastic film or other foreign
material. Otherwise the risk
of fire hazard exists!
CAUTION:
The appliance becomes very hot during operation!
Never open the housing of the appliance. This can result in electric shock.
The manufacturer will not be liable in the event of incorrect assembly, improper or incorrect use or if
repairs are carried out by unauthorized third parties.

FIRST USE

1. Before first use, we recommend
cleaning the non-stick waffle pla-
tes with a damp cloth.
2. Close the appliance and connect
the plug to a wall socket (220–
240 V~, 50 Hz). The red control

ged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer or its after-
sales service or a similarly
qualified person in order to
