PRE-OPERATION CHECK

Check the snowthrower on level ground with the engine stopped.
To prevent accidental start-up, turn the engine switch OFF, and
disconnect the spark plug cap before performing the pre-operation
inspection.
Fuel level
Inspection
Remove the fuel tank cap, and check if the fuel is up to the level mark.
If the fuel level is low, refill the tank up to the upper level mark.
FUEL TANK CAP UPPER LEVEL MARK
Use unleaded gasoline with a Research Octane Number of 91 or
higher (a Pump Octane Number of 86 or higher).
Never use stale or contaminated gasoline or an oil/gasoline mixture.
Avoid getting dirt or water in the fuel tank.
After refueling, be sure to tighten the fuel tank cap firmly.
