Troubleshooting
Problem
Insufficient
extraction
performance
38
Possible cause
Too great distance
between the
appliance
and the cooktop
Draughts
Negative pressure
in the room due
to insufficient air
supply
Clogged / soiled
filters
Too small air duct
cross-section
Blocked airways
Backflow
of exhaust air
due to
un favourable
installation
conditions
Possible solution
Install the appliance at a lower height.
Follow the installation instructions!
Close doors and windows.
Always ensure a sufficient supply
of fresh air in compliance with the
relevant the relevant sections!
Clean the metal grease filter
or replace the activated carbon filter
as described in the relevant section.
Observe the notes and instructions
regarding the air ducting!
Check the air duct for blockages
(e.g. fly screen, blocked flap of the
non-return valve, immovable louvres on
the outer cover plate, etc.)
and remove any foreign objects.
Lateral barriers at the height of the
exhaust air slots in the shaft can deflect
the exhaust air flow in recirculation
mode or if the exhaust air hose is not
fitted in exhaust air mode
and thereby reducing the suction power!
Observe the instructions for recircula-
tion mode under "... Installation require-
ments"!
